In accordance with Section 90(2), second sentence, of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., as amended (the Education Act), and in accordance with Section 7 of Decree No. 47/2005 Coll., as amended, on the completion of secondary school education with a final examination and on the completion of conservatory education with a diploma, the school principal hereby determines the following examination content for the year 2026:

The student shall submit the application for registration of the graduate thesis no later than 15. 10. 2025.

High school graduation exam
Final exams at the Prague Dance Conservatory in the 2025/2026 school year – 8th year (field of study 82-46-M/01 Dance)
Assessment criteria for the profile section of the school-leaving examination
Under the auspices of CERMAT:
- State (common) part of the Ministry of Health
- 2 compulsory exams (format: didactic test)
- Czech language and literature
- Foreign language – English
- Optional exams (format: didactic test)
- French language
In accordance with Section 79(3) of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., as amended (the Education Act), the school principal determines the range of compulsory examinations for the spring and autumn examination periods of 2025:
- School (profile) part of the Ministry of Health
- Two mandatory tests:
- Czech language and literature (form: written assignment and oral exam)
- English language (form: written assignment and oral exam)
- 2 additional mandatory tests:
- History of dance and ballet (format: oral exam before the exam commission,
topics) - Practical exam:
- Classical dance (task: interpretation of knowledge and execution of specific classical dance techniques in harmony with musicality, spatial awareness, and artistic expression)
- Modern and contemporary dance (assignment: interpretation of knowledge and execution of specific modern and contemporary dance techniques in accordance with musicality, spatial awareness, and artistic expression)
- The practical exam takes place over two days (classical dance on the first day, modern and contemporary dance on the second day) in the dance hall together with several other students.

In accordance with Section 19 of Decree No. 177/2009 Coll., as amended, the school principal has determined the following details regarding the administration of the profile section of the final exams in Czech language and literature and English language:

- The worksheet for the oral exam contains an excerpt from a randomly selected literary work (artistic text); the oral exam also includes testing knowledge of language and style using a separate excerpt (non-artistic text).

- Oral exam:
In accordance with Section 81(7) of the Education Act, pupils may substitute the English language exam with the result of a successfully completed standardized exam documented by a language certificate at level B1 or higher according to the CEFR, as specified in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports information list for 2026, see Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
The student shall submit a request to replace the exam with a standardized exam and provide a certified copy of the language certificate no later than 31. 3. 2026.
CautionA standardized language exam certified by a certificate serves as a substitute for the foreign language exam taken in the profile part of the final exam (written work and oral exam) in its entirety. The student always takes the didactic test.
