Admission procedure

Graduates of the Prague Dance Conservatory can find employment as performing artists in ballet companies at theaters or other professional ballet and dance ensembles, or continue their studies at a university specializing in the humanities.

Since the 1996/97 school year, pupils who have completed the 5th grade of elementary school have been admitted to the 1st grade.

The teaching focuses on acquiring professional knowledge and skills in classical, modern, and folk dance, supplemented by general and theoretical professional education.

In grades 1–4, pupils complete compulsory schooling alongside practical vocational training.
