Welcome Behind the Curtain

Europass:

• A document supplementing a certificate of secondary or vocational education (final exam certificate, apprenticeship certificate, high school graduation certificate) that you can use when looking for a college program, a job, or a part-time job.
• It pertains to the holder’s qualification—that is, it is the same for all individuals with the same field of study; it does not include the holder’s name, but rather the code and name of the field of study and the school’s address.
• Unlike grades, it provides a verbal description of the general and specialized competencies acquired and potential career paths.
• It indicates the level of qualification achieved according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), which makes it possible to understand and compare the qualification achieved with those in other education systems in Europe.
• It is published free of charge in Czech and other languages (English, German, French).
• It is valid only when accompanied by the original diploma.
