The renovated dance studios will offer students better facilities for daily practice, classes, and preparation for their future careers. The cafeteria, an integral part of daily school life, has also been renovated.

And while some are just beginning their journey with us, others have already moved on.

Where have our graduates gone?

Every year, we bid farewell to our graduates with the hope that they will make the best possible use of what they have learned during their studies. It is therefore a joy to see where their next steps take them. This year’s graduates are heading in various directions—some are continuing their studies, some are joining professional dance companies, and others are beginning their professional careers outside the field of dance.

Anna Musilová is continuing her studies at university while also collaborating with the Ondráš dance company. Alexandra Savinova is heading abroad to gain experience; she will be completing a one-year internship at the Nuovo Balletto di Vicenza in Italy. Emma Vaninetti is continuing with a junior theater troupe in Finland. Diana Pilková is starting a new job. Ela Marie Platilová is heading to Brno, where she is joining the NdB2 company.

Other graduates are also entering the professional world—Tatiana Vacíková and Ela Zemanová are joining a theater company in Plzeň, while Adam Horňák is joining Prague Ballet Junior. Aleš Matoušek is continuing with the ballet company of the South Bohemian Theater in České Budějovice, and Albert Schmidtmayer is performing with the ballet company of the National Theater in Prague.

Vanesa Vaňková and Adam Bašista are continuing their university studies. Adrian Štěrba is continuing his studies at a university abroad, and Jan Kříž is also planning to study abroad.

Vladyslav Chepulia took a different path; he began working in a field outside the arts, but remains connected to the artistic community through occasional appearances in various artistic projects.

Studying abroad

With the start of the new school year, we also said goodbye to several students who will be studying abroad this year under individualized study plans. Tomáš Heřmanský and Anna Herzmannová are continuing their studies at ENB School in England. Elisabeth Hrubá is studying in Oslo at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO). It is important to us that our students have the opportunity to gain experience not only at home but also abroad. It is precisely these experiences that can play a significant role in their future professional and personal development.

We’re Starting a New Chapter

This year’s start of the school year thus symbolically brings together two generations. New freshmen are just beginning their chapter, while our graduates are already writing the next chapters of their own stories.

We are delighted to watch where their journey takes them, while also creating the conditions for those who are just beginning theirs here with us.

We wish all our students plenty of energy, inspiration, joy in dance, and above all, the desire to continue working on themselves in the new school year.
